SEMI-AUTO MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 4525417. Bbl. 24". Bbl markings include "LMR 7 53". Throat and muzzle gauge 2.0. All major parts markings are "IHC". T105E1 rear sight. Blade front sight with protective ears. High hump gas cylinder lock. Walnut stock set. Buttstock marked inside bbl channel "OR 2002". Faint encircled "P" proof under grip. 1953 dated green web sling. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: cleaning kit and plastic oiler in butt. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework finish with light wear, slight loss of wood in inletted areas. Notable handling marks on left side of stock. Rear handguard has 4" crack on right side. Bore has strong lands with areas of oxidation and fine pitting. PROVENANCE: From the Lifetime Collection of Malcolm Zickler, Ret. USAF Lt. Col. (26-736/RW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
